Katy is a voice Specialist Speech & Language Therapist with over 20 years experience working with a comprehensive range of voice and speech difficulties within both the NHS and in the private sector.
Working within Christella’s practice, Katy brings knowledge and skills in assessment and treatment of the following:

⁃ Adult voice disorders ( a registered provider with BUPA & AXA PPP)
⁃ Voice modification for transgender and gender diverse voice
⁃ Paediatric voice and speech difficulties
⁃ Voice improvement for clients with Parkinson’s Disease, including Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT)
⁃ Acid reflux
⁃ Articulation/ diction, (speech sound production), including treatment of lisps
⁃ Neurodiversity dyslexia assessor

Katy has undertaken level 1 and level 2 training courses in transgender and gender diverse voice devised by Christella and completed the 1:1 training to deliver the Antoni Method programmes. Her experience also includes working with performers and professional voice users. Prior to qualifying as a speech and Lanaguage Therapist from City University London in 2001, Katy worked professionally as an actor for ten years, qualifying from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
